Stag print lampshade

Description

STAG print lampshade.  Handmade to order, these small drum shades are made using a white cotton base fabric which has been digitally printed with small stags.  A perfect accessory for any traditional or contemporary style interior.

MATERIALS 

The lampshade rings and fire retardent PVC lining are manufactured in the UK and have all been tested and passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association.  In other words, the components used to make these shades are safe to use. 

MAKING PROCESS

We individually make each stag shade to order.  Initially, we prepare the piece of fabric in preparation for applying the PVC.  Next, we attach the PVC lining before rolling the shade to form the drum shape.  Finally, we turn the ends over on the inside because this creates a neat finish without having to use binding tape.  Last but not least, the shade is wrapped in a clear cellophane to keep it clean.

Wherever possible we use paper or cardboard packaging.  Of course we have a duty to do our bit for the environment, whilst at the same time ensuring our products arrive undamaged.  Where we find it necessary to use alternative packaging, all of it can be recycled so please do your bit too

SHIPPING YOUR STAG PRINT LAMPSHADE

We send all items via Royal Mail or Parcelforce using a Signed For service.  Shipping costs are determined by the size and weight of the item ordered.  However you can choose whether the item is shipped first or second class.  Shipping costs for multiple items on the same order will therefore be determined by the total weight and size of the packaging required to ship.

CARING FOR YOUR STAG PRINT LAMPSHADE stags shade

We recommend using a lint free duster on the inside of the shade and most importantly, a soft brush for the fabric.  If you are using a hoover attachment on the outer fabric, be especially careful not to snag the cotton.   Should you need to clean the fabric we recommend spot cleaning only and always with a solution suitable for cotton upholstery.  Equally important to take care not to rub the fabric as this is likely to cause pilling; in other words bobbling.
